1 Ton of organic waste on a landfill site produces 365kgs of carbon dioxide emissions into. The same amount of waste composted ONLY produces 30kgs of carbon dioxide.
As it is the Year of the Tiger, Lory Park Zoo is celebrating this on
valentines day. They invite families to come and share their valentines day showing their love to this endangered animal. They will be having face painting, tiger and conservation talks ,feeding of the tigers and competitions. Kids over 2 to 12 will pay only R20 entrance fee for the day and if they bring with them a picture of a tiger that they havedrawn themselves , they will be entered into their colouring competition.
Christiaan will be giving 3 short talks at Lori Park Zoo in Midrand, on the 14th of Feb at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00

Green Christmas Night Market
Our Centurion/Pretoria team member, Christiaan Roos, will be manning a stall at the Green Christmas Night Market being held at the Klitgras drum circle on 5 December
The venue is located 14km outside of Menlyn (from Hans Strijdom) on the Garsfontein road (M30). If you're in the area please stop by and say hi.

Great Lemon trees with vermitea
