After visiting FullCycle here in the Village, and learning about earthworms, the Sun Valley Primary School Grade 2's are doing an earthworm project in their classrooms. The school project has sparked a lot of family visits to our office at the Noordhoek Farm Village. Watch out for the children as they dig for earthworms around Noordhoek. Did you know that there is a difference between the earthworms that the children are digging in the soil for and the composting earthworms we use in our worm farms? If you want to know more, come to our weekly talks at 3pm at our educational installation in the playground at the village. |
